OUR OWN FIRST CLIENT
Building MarketMerit
A brand takes shape one decision at a time.
Before MarketMerit could help tell another business's story, we needed to tell our own. What should the agency stand for? How should it look? And how could a website connect the pieces without losing the bigger picture?
Here is a selected look at the work behind our starting point: the explorations, decisions and practical checks that helped turn an idea into a live website.
01 — Define the whole picture
MarketMerit brings together brand direction, creative content, social media, websites, search and a developing AI implementation practice. The first website needed to make that breadth understandable while giving visitors a clear place to begin.
Website development became the initial priority. The agency's identity still needed to leave room for everything being built around it.
Better marketing. Better coordinated.
02 — Give the idea a visual direction
The identity exploration brought an angular symbol, a contrasting wordmark and a Forest/Ivory palette into focus. We selected a refined, modern direction and carried it into more precise digital assets.
The quieter decisions mattered too: the weight of the lettering, the spacing and the way the symbol reads beside the name. Selected refinements below show how the details were considered, rather than suggesting the first sketch was the finished answer.

03 — Turn the identity into a useful website
The website had to do more than look consistent. It needed to explain the agency, separate different service questions, introduce Jason and make starting a conversation straightforward.
During review, we revisited how the service overview represented the business. Branding, creative production, social media and AI implementation needed their place alongside websites and search. The resulting six-page launch connects the wider agency story with focused service explanations.

04 — Connect the parts people don't always see
A launch also depends on the details behind the page: the domain, secure connections, page information for search engines and a working inquiry route.
For our launch, we checked the six pages and tested an inquiry through to the business mailbox. Business name remained optional, so someone with an early-stage idea could still start a conversation. We also prepared a handover explaining how the site is maintained and what still needs checking.

05 — Launch is a starting point
The website is live. The next work is to learn from it, develop the service content and continue building the agency's capabilities, including AI implementation and automation.
This story records a real launch, not a claim of growth results. Search rankings, inquiries and business impact need evidence over time. We will add meaningful developments as that evidence becomes available.
What this could look like for your project
The questions, scope and deliverables will depend on your business. Our own project illustrates the value of connecting direction, design, implementation and review—and making the decisions understandable along the way.
